OUR HISTORY
Every year the family of Life Celebration Centre (LCC)through the Leadership of Rev.Elijah Mwangi who is the Lead Pastor, hosts a conference dubbed the “Cutting Edge Conference” whose goal is to “Equip the Saints for the work of the Ministry”.The target audience is not only the congregation in the local assembly of LCC but the entire body of Christ in Nakuru and the world at large by use of television channels and social media platforms. There is a need to focus on the saints with an aim of equipping and empowering them with the word of God for them to be more effective in doing what God Has called them to do.There is also a need to stir up spiritual gifts and callings domiciled in individuals and congregations through Prophetic and Apostolic impartion as well as divine encounters orchestrated by corporate anoiniting when the people of God come together,
Cutting edge conference is an annual event at Deliverance Church International, Life Celebration Centre (LCC) Nakuru and is held in the month of April. The theme of the Cutting Edge Conference is derived from the Book of Ephesians 4:12 “Equipping the Saints for the work of the Ministry”.The year 2026 marks the 6th edition of the Cutting Edge Conference since inception in 2018.The conferences that were due in the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 could not be held because of the health related restrictions on gatherings occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, however things were different and the conference was held in atmosphere of peace, tranquillity and freedom from fear of infections.

About our Convener
Rev. Elijah Mwangi is the Lead Pastor at Life Celebration Centre of Deliverance Church International, Nakuru. With a deep passion for planting and strengthening churches, he has faithfully raised and equipped leaders both locally and internationally through preaching, teaching, and intentional discipleship.He holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from Beacon University College of Ministry (USA); a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Nairobi; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Egerton University. This unique blend of theological depth and academic excellence allows him to minister effectively across diverse cultural and professional contexts.Rev. Elijah Mwangi is also a prolific author whose writings reflect a strong commitment to biblical truth, leadership development, and the Great Commission.Each of his works equip believers to grow in faith, embrace their calling, and serve God’s purposes with clarity and conviction.He is joyfully married to Mary Wambui Maina, and together they are blessed with three children: Keren, Caleb, and Gladwell.
